About Us

Matemik was founded in 2021, after the war, with the goal of creating equal educational opportunities in the regions of Armenia — providing access to knowledge in various fields and digital skills for children, regardless of their social or geographical position. The program unites volunteer teachers and students, forming an environment where knowledge becomes a means of development, confidence and social inclusion, shaping a future generation with a strong value system.

Our Projects

Matemik's projects aim to create an Armenia where every child — whether in a village or a city — can develop their intellectual potential through innovative methods and caring volunteer teachers who serve as role models for students. "Matemik" strives to ensure that education not only transfers knowledge, but also strengthens students' self-confidence, teamwork and critical thinking — contributing to the long-term socio-economic development of the regions.

Success Story

Our Matemik student Robert Sahakyan is in 6th grade and actively participates in the mathematics club. He joined the program through information shared on social media and demonstrated high motivation and engagement throughout his studies. During his participation, Robert significantly developed his mathematical knowledge and skills. He benefited from a high-quality educational environment and received consistent support from his teacher Narine Vardanyan, whose professional approach and lessons played an important role in Robert's progress. Robert's experience demonstrates the positive impact of "Matemik" — creating opportunities for development for schoolchildren and contributing to their academic growth and the formation of in-depth knowledge.

Student Success Story

Our Matemik student Angelina Dallakyan is in 8th grade. She participates in the mathematics club and shares her story: "My name is Angelina. I found out about 'Matemik' from my mathematics teacher, for which I am still grateful to them. Although I have been participating in 'Matemik' classes for a short time, thanks to a skilled teacher everything becomes clear immediately. Before I knew about 'Matemik', one lesson at school was not enough for me to fully understand and absorb the material. Now, thanks to 'Matemik's' distance learning classes, I have the opportunity to spend more time on the subject. I am very happy that I joined 'Matemik'."

Online clubs continue their classes

"Matemik" classes are continuing. This warmth is created by the smiles of the children, the dedication of our volunteers and the joy of learning together. At this moment our large and united growing educational community has: — 199 students from various regions of Armenia (including those forcibly displaced from Artsakh) and Javakhk, — 36 clubs — mathematics, Armenian language, English, history and other subjects, — 35 volunteer teachers who dedicate their time every day to the progress of the children.
